A fabulous Rudbar Runner in spring like colours from the Town bearing the same name. Rudbar is situated in Gilan Province, Iran. It is located in a very mountainous terrain near Mount Dorfak and is not easy to access by road. In 1990 the town of Rudbar was struck by a major Earthquake which still shows its effects on the town. The city, however, never lost its carpet making tradition. That said, a lot fewer examples are being made in comparison to the past.
