This fascinating carpet is the work of the Adreskani tribe of the Baluch nomads from Afghanistan. As with all the weavings of this ancient tribal people, it is knotted from the finest native wool throughout an interprets the traditional mihrab prayer field composition in wholly original and distinctive manner.
