Its ridiculously easy to submit the details of your room using the special form. The start-to-finish process goes something like this:
Take, or locate, digital photographs of the room you would like to submit for a Designer Rug makeover.
Your images should be in JPEG format (they will have a .jpg file extension) - this is most likely if they have been taken with a standard digital camera. If in another format (e.g. TIFF or BMP), you will need to convert the images to JPEGs using an Image manipulation program such as Adobe PhotoShop, PaintShop Pro, Macromedia Fireworks, or an Image Viewing program like ACDSee.
Each image should be no more than 1 megabyte (1MB) in size, maximum. Images taken at High Quality with a 3 megapixel camera will be considerably more than this, and you will need to resize/resample them in any standard image program, such as those mentioned above for saving images as JPEGs.
Once you have 1 or 2 satisfactory images saved in JPEG format and sized at 1 megabyte or less each, copy or save them in a directory on your hard disk which you can easily locate. If you are using a Windows system, we suggest saving your room images in C:\My Documents\My Pictures\Room\ or another directory you make yourself with an easily remembered name such as ‘Room’.

First, click the button marked ‘Browse’ next to the top form field for the first image upload - this will open an Explorer view of your hard disk. Simply navigate to where you have saved the image(s) as described above, and select one of the image files (JPEGs). Then click on ‘Open’ in the window - this will place the path to the image in the first form field.
If you have a second image, do exactly the same in the second form field - Browse to the image on your hard disk, press ‘Open’ and the image path will be inserted in the form field.
Now fill in as many of the other fields in the form as you can, or wish to. You can provide either rough or approximate values, in feet, yards or metres/centimetres (please indicate which), for the size of your room. You can indicate any colours your would especially like to be reflected in the rugs chosen by our design team. Also, you may indicate special types, or age and so on, plus give a rough indication of the budget you have set yourself for the Rug Decoration of the room in question.
Finally, in order that we may get back to you with our recommendations, please fill in your name and email address, plus any other contact information that might be helpful. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence, for the purpose of your free Rugs for Rooms design proposal only. No personal details you provide will be passed on to anyone else, neither will you receive any information other than our design Proposals.
When the form is completed to your satisfaction - including any additional information you provide in the general remarks and comments field - simply click on the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the form, and then wait while your images and other information are uploaded to our server.
Important Note: please be patient while the images are uploaded. Depending on the speed of your internet connection and the size of your images, this may take up to a few minutes to complete. Please do not click the submit button more than once, else you may fail to upload the images properly.
When the upload has completed and your form has been fully submitted, a message will appear on the screen confirming your success. Now all you have to do is check your email (for the email address you have provided) every day or so - your Free Rugs for Rooms Designer proposal should reach you normally within 48 hours from the time you submit your form.
